Am I wrong to feel a bit miffed here? It's not the end of the world, but this is still not the kind of treatment I'd have hoped for as a premium member booking a premium room.
Of course not. Its the old "we don't have what the customer originally bargained for so lets not say anything and hope he doesn't notice & complain".
They knew exactly what they were doing from the get go.
I like the idea of asking to be walked. I bet more than a few free drinks would be coming your way...
