emailing boarding passes still seems to be way faster than the request link for partner miles. Not all too long ago you couldnt even request partner miles via the web. I think by them seeing the boarding passes greatly reduces the time it takes to verify stuff
I submitted boarding passes and receipts via email as per their instructions posted online and they still didn't respond until i called. It was wee bit frustrating...but all is well now.
