Do you have the required MQDs or a waiver? Where will you be on MQDs for next year? Remember that if you go for the rollover, you'll still need $6000 MQDs next year, or $25,000 spend on DL AmEx cards to get GM.

I could see an argument for a long MR. There are some cheap tickets to Asia now that would earn very roughly (OP has not disclosed his/her location) 20,000 MQMs and 40,000 RDMs for a GM. Next year such a ticket might earn only about 7,000 RDMs for a GM, although MQM earning rules will be unchanged.
