DMK to lower Sukhumvit last week arriving appx 10pm. The arrivals hall was really busy, so I went straight to the departures level. The first cab was playing the how much will you give me game, so I moved to the next cab. He was happy to go by the meter.

He never asked about the tollway, and didn't take either of them.
Price to my hotel 151 THB, all in.
