I've done about 20K on my Venture with 1 fraud alert...how long did you have th card? How long were you a cap 1 customer?
I was Cap1 customer for more than 10 years (started with INGDirect checking).
The more shocking is that they closed my checking account 2 months before closing my credit card for no reason at all (no activity for about a year), then they closed my Sharebuilder account without any explanation at all and now - credit cards...
