Does your drink of choice change with the season?

Mrs BamaVol and I dined out last night. She's pretty consistent - a glass or two of red wine with any meal, regardless of what we're eating. Normally I'm a beer drinker. Give me a pint of craft ale with almost any meal. If it's really hot out, I may opt for a glass of pinot grigio. I may also split a bottle of red wine with her when the temperatures drop. Last night they did and so I drank pinot noir. If this cold nonsense keeps up, I'll drink more wine than beer until Spring comes.

It's different if we're not eating. Mrs. BV will experiment with various fruity rum drinks or beer or a G&T while we sit at a bar across from the beach. And if I'm at home I will pour a scotch, rye or bourbon for myself before I start working in the kitchen on dinner preparation.

In summary:

Spring - beer
Summer - 90% beer, 10% pinot grigio
Fall - beer
Winter - 50% beer, 50% red wine
