Donastia is a small but nice Basque bar on Ave B and 10th street that has a rather reasonable 20$ meat and cheese board. 2 glasses of wine and the board is a good start to a date and under $50 with tip depending on the wine. Also their Pintxos (think tapas) are pretty damned good and cheap during happy hour.

The 3 cheese plates at Wallflower in the West Village are rather good also.

I don't drink coffee so that is up to you.
