OP: As the issue appears to be at the credit card companies, why did you not start with them?
I did start with AMEX, who pointed out that the hotels in question (in my case) were not showing up as a Hilton Brand. The hotel was charging as some other name or lets say the franchise owner. I have a hard time getting too upset with AMEX as they have no idea that Palace Dumbrava for example is really the Hilton Sibiu.
The issue is with local hotels not having the Hilton Brand name show up in the way they charge an account. So to me Hilton corporate needs to get all hotels inline.
