Four or so Finnair's A340 have new seats as well so PVG route is likely to have one of those birds. Finnair J class experience will surely be inferior to Qatar, but they stil have a decent product. And as you said travel time is shorter and Helsinki is allright for transfers (although gets quite busy during the afternoon rush our)
