They're both good hotels, so I'd pick the one in the part of London that you'd rather be. The Baglioni is convenient for the V&A, Hyde Park and Chelsea. The Langham is just by Oxford Circus, so closer to the National Museum, the Portrait Gallery and shopping on Bond and Regent St.

The Langham has a particularly kick-... bar in case you like that kind of thing.
