Mercure Double Booking - Changing Dates?

Hi FT’ers,

My first real post here but a short time lurker so please be gentle. Basically, and I really am not sure how, a few weeks ago I booked two Accor Bookings under the “Hot Deals” rate i.e. No Change, No Refunds. However, it appears that, when doing the second hotel, it reverted to the date of the first booking. Now I could have sworn I changed the date but who knows. So I have bookings, for the same night, this coming Friday with:

Mercure Winchester
Mercure Bratislava

I know the fault lies with me for not checking the booking at the final screen more carefully but have any of you any experience with trying to change non-refundable bookings with the chain?

I only want to change the date of one of the bookings to what I originally wanted and am prepared to pay a fee to do so. Or, alternatively, change the name of the booking and give the room away as a gift…

The thing that complicates, and really matters more, this potentially for me is that the last booking was my 3rd in order to get the 4,000 points under the 160 euro promotion. If I cannot change it and I do not show up (which, given the distance, is a definite!) will it still count as a stay and the points post?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
