MOST SHOES EXCEPT MOST SNEAKERS HAVE METAL SHANKS IN THEM. IF YOU WALK THROUGH THE METAL DETECTOR WITH THEM ON IT WILL ALARM. THEREFORE YOU WILL GET SECONDARY SCREENED. SOLUTION ......WHERE SNEAKERS. IF YOU HAVE SSSS THE AIRLINE SELECTED YOU FOR SECONDARY SCREENER AND NO IT IS NOT DONE RANDOMLY THERE ARE VARIOUS REASONS BASED ON YOUR CONTACT WITH THE AIRLINE. TAKE THAT UP WITH THEM. DID EVERYONE FORGET ABOUT THE SHOE BOMBER?????? DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO ASK WHY??? </font>

Please take a few hours and review this forum and the Travel Security forum. Most of these people know shoes do alarm the detector and have seen fit to get shoes that won't.

Most of them travel once or twice or more a week. They know what their doing.


Btw Don't shout, I hate when screeners do it at the checkpoint and I hate it here to.
