They are getting more, they are at 8 currently with 4 more to come. I don't think the next 4 are all route committed yet so BOM might still get one.

Interestingly most airlines are shying away from A380's and the forward order book for Airbus is weak. I've read comments that Airbus will likely never recoup the investment. That might mean A380's on the cheap just to keep production going and anything is possible is the price is right...
FD.
I thought I heard that the break even point for airbus was around 250 frames? It may well have moved up due to the cost overruns though. I guess there aren't many routes which will either take an A380 or be able to fill that many seats. If Emirates keep ordering and also start replacing the older A380s I am sure they will just about hit that.
747 HiJ F14 J70 W30 Y185 = 299
747 MidJ F14 J52 W36 Y243 = 345
A380 F14 J97 W55 Y303 = 469
It is a big jump in number of seats from a 747 to an A380. Some of the very full 747 routes have gone or are going to A380s, many of the rest will probably become 777X routes when that comes along since that pretty much will have an identical seat number to the 747s.
