Yes, a point DOES hold a different value at different times!

2013: 60 points = $1 in WGA airfare - 1.67 cents per point
2014: 70 points = $1 in WGA airfare - 1.43 cents per point
2015+: anyone's guess

Southwest has proven they can and will devalue these!
