my previous post where I listed the AIDs and added those to cardpeek. Apparently the BoA card does use the Visa common AID, but doesn't have a PIX extension (e.g. it's A000000098, not A0000000980848 like on the Schwab card). Both applications have the same files and records but the processing options for each tell the terminal to ignore the CVM list that's not applicable.
Anyway, I'm going to see about sending a patch to the cardpeek author.

It sounds like the Bank of America card doesn't present the common AID as a processing option for application selection, instead it is only available if specifically requested.
This is completely OKAY, because the Durbin routing technique is for the terminal to ask for the common AIDs specifically (this bypasses the fact they are second priority). It is extremely unlikely a terminal would be able to process a common AID but NOT the major networks, thus the priority means the common AIDs will never be used unless specifically requested anyway.
