I need to buy a ticket for my aunt from Manila to Sydney return. Neither she nor my mom have any money, so I'm paying for it.

She's in her 70s but has never been on an airplane before.

The options are PAL or Qantas which are both around US$780 for an economy ticket or Cebu Pacific which is quite a lot cheaper at around US$520 return including pre-paying for onboard food and baggage.

PAL and Qantas I've flown on plenty of times myself so should be OK but online reviews of Cebu Pacific which has only just started flying MNL-SYD seem so show that the seats are just that bit narrower and the seat pitch is a bit tighter than PAL/Qantas.

Any ideas? I'd like to keep costs down but I don't want to subject my aunt to 8 hours of hell if PAL/Qantas are better on this route.
