Back to the original topic- got back in a SQ longhaul seat after a long time on a short SIN-MNL hop (not the new new seat..)..and boy, I haven't been missing much - perhaps, it's even worse than CX new regional biz for lounging in..I wanted to catch a movie, and snooze a bit, but not in the flipped over bed mode- super uncomfortable, as the leg rest doesn't come up too much and the recline is at best 'ok', plus an awkward sitting angle to get the feet in the cubbyhole..guess the new seats with the lazyboy mode should be better. And to be fair, I quite like SQ's regional biz seats for short hops..
