No, he's trying to go YVR-IST return, but I pointed out that as he's still >330 days from his return leg, he'll see the TK availability IST-YUL but won't yet see the AC availability YUL-YVR.

So, in order to lock in the IST avails, he'd have to book an open-jaw YVR-YUL-IST and then IST-YUL, then add the YVR leg in when it becomes available.

...or wait a few weeks and then book YVR-YUL-IST return.

As for finding availability, I found all mine on the Aeroplan website - start by searching YUL-IST and moving dates around (that TK flight only runs certain days of the week).

Find each leg individually, then if the whole itinerary isn't showing on the website, call the agents to book.
