I have witnessed this in Cincinnati, Austin, San Jose and Detroit in the past 3 weeks. I can say that 100% of the time Sky Priority is priority in Nashville.

My question is who else is noticing a decline in Delta's Sky Priority Services? In my opinion what Delta advertises is no longer true in a number of instances and the "Priority" you receive is a far cry from what is advertised.

I know there are the shills on this site that will tell me I should be thankful I received my bag and to shut up - so I will save you some typing by acknowledging that I have never lost a bag on Delta (had a few damaged). But in my less than valuable opinion, Delta should live up to what they advertise. Having flown 230 segments in the past 13 months I expect a little priority since I have been loyal to Delta. Why have a loyalty program if they are not going to honor their part of the agreement.
I do a round trip every other week, checking a bag about half the time and have not experienced this problem. Slow delivery is another issue.
