thanks for all your comments. just that both previous counter agents and DM line told us in numerous occasions the minimum would be 45 minutes prior to cut off. we got to the counter exactly at 45 minutes prior to departure with our on-line check-in boarding passes. all she had to do was to tag the bags and send them into security. their reasoning was this was an international flight. my argument was it still had to go through seattle first. I was just frustrated how they took forever to check people in. sky priority was SO NOT priority with just having two counter agents. a few passengers got angry and started yelling at the counter agents. they too were pissed how slow the line was. but for next time, we will get there at least 1 1/2 hour prior to avoid this.
