And I am now considering to have myself removed from Hertz Gold
just to avoid any further unauthorized rentals due to my card details being on file...
Whilst Gold does save your details (note you can remove your card from it) they can still authorise the charge fro deposit or collection. It just seems a bit of a cockup.
