So I called Alaska earlier this evening and the woman I spoke to completely confused me. (I don't even want to write what she said because it made no sense to me).

I am flying on a US Airways ticketed but American Airlines operated (read: AA metal the whole way) one way from LGA to SEA with a stop in DFW. I will be MVP by the time I take this flight. It's O fare class on American, which means I earn no miles on Alaska; however, if I fly on my Alaska number, will I be eligible for the discounted Main Cabin Extra seating and free checked bag?
