I don't have a problem with mandatory searches but I have a problem with anything discovered there being used against me, if it happens not to be strictly related to airplane security.

i don't disagree with the first paragraph and it's a very fine line to walk in regards to airport security, but...

...if screeners happen upon a stash of pot or cocaine in the luggage of a selectee, they should overlook that since it is not directly associated with airplane security????

don' thin' so-that makes the screener an accessory to your illegal act-YOU go directly to jail-YOU do not pass go, YOU do not collect $200.....

...the best way i have found to circumvent the law is to keep my nose clean, obey the law of the land, and don't pack anything in my luggage that might embarress me or get me arrested because it's an illegal item!!!!
