Well said Bruce, I've handle them the same way. Never lose my cool as that is what they are hoping for, interaction with their idols the LEO's. TSa poster's here constantly say "come to my dojang/airport and say that to my face". These thugs hope that by baiting you with threats, you will cease pointing out their stupidity. While many TSA'ers agree here that there is no security values in certain processes they defend TSA's policies.
Just because we point out stupidity, just because we post that we question the stupidity of TSA policy directly to screeners, just because we say "we know" laptops, cell phones, shoes, id's, bp's need to "come out/off" doesn't mean we are aggressive in person or even "loud". Just because some compare TSA to Nazi's and Commie's doesn't mean that it is applicable. If the shoe fits...and if it doesn't then don't. I'm sure none of you TSA'ers "believe" the shoe fits, DON'T WEAR IT THEN....
