Ticked off that Amex dropped this coverage too. (JPM Pd used to have it but dropped it in the last year or so, so I shifted my ticket spend to the Plat.) Yes, it's "low-value," but at least you weren't completely screwed on an expensive ticket or one-off event if an emergency came up -- it's happened to me once, luckily the venue was kind enough to rebook me for a later performance. FWIW, covered events also included jury duty, so it wasn't strictly emergency coverage.

Certainly not the type of coverage I would pay out of pocket for...
