The usual customer service experience in SIN is
much rougher! If an employees encounters a demand that smells like work, they will immediately and without hesitation resort to blame the customer for not knowing that there is a law or a century old nameless policy against the insane request the customer just uttered.
You very rarely hear "we are unable" and usually get "you must", "not possible for your ticket/fare", "by law" etc. Come well armed with documents if you want service here.
