This seems to be a rather flawed assertion to me
I have just read a trip report on another forum (VS) where the reviewer a diabetic started feeling unwell due to food related problems and he noted his bloods were crashing and he used his call button to ask for two cans of cola explaining his situation. After 10 mins the crew member had not returned and his condition had deteriorated to the extent that a fellow passenger had to intervene and it turned out the crewe member had forgot, so they aren't always the same.
