Why I will always fly BA - Best Crew In The Sky

Last night did an overnight flight from Cape Town arriving this morning at Heathrow on my own.

Half way through the night I stood up feeling unwell went to the galley to get a drink, stood there and the next thing I know, there are two cabin crew gently shaking me to consciousness. It would appear for the first time in my life (I'm 36), I fainted/collapsed.

After a minute or two they got me to the jump seat in the Galley and got me some oxygen. Spent 20 or so minutes receiving oxygen whilst these two crew reassured me everything was ok (I was really shaken up). I continued to feel unwell (although not as bad as when I hit the deck) for the rest of the flight, but throughout the remaining 5 or so hours, all cabin crew made sure I was ok, checking on me all the time, getting me (and making sure I drank) water.

I was treated with absolute professionalism, care and warmth (I was really shaken up by this), and felt (despite me being older than all the crew helping) like I had 3 or 4 mums on board looking after me

I cannot thank these guys enough (I've sent a well done), I just wish there is something else I could do.

Anyway, back to my original point. I trust that when things go wrong, the crew on board are the best in the industry and I am in safe hands, they are top class employees, and that is what makes a successful business and what will make me spend my money with BA.

Thanks Guys ^

Matt
