MNL T3 Pacific Club
Flew out of MNL, first time for me to use the new T3 and Pacific Club. Thought I would give my thoughts and experience.
Was flying out on DL172 to NRT, departing at 9:40am. First thing I noticed was there is no longer a line specifically for BE. Just a SkyPriority line. Took a good 30 minutes to check in, they did have 2 kiosks there, which no one was using. In the past I never had to wait in line to check in.
Made it to,the Pacific Club at approximately 7:45am. Signs to the club are present and it was not difficult to find. Take a right after security, then a quick left, another right, then up the elevator to the second level. Only DL BE ticketed passengers can use the club, SkyClub membership does you no good here. Upon checking in, immediately noticed how small the club was. There were no seats to found, standing room only. Many people commenting asking if there was another part to the club, nope, that was it. This club is also used by CX and EK, and not sure who else. CX also has 2 morning flights out, EK at least one.
Noticed many of the old chairs from the old SkyClub being used, outlets did not seem readily available,,or at least hard to find. Finally got a seat after about a 10 minute wait.
Food offerings were slightly better than the old club, more hot food options. Wifi speed was good, no dead areas like in the back corner of the old club, better overall than the old club.
The restrooms are slightly bigger than the old club, with room for 2 people at a time, one toilet, one urinal in the men's room, though no showers are available. Fairly decent view of the ramp operations. DL is using gate 112 in the new terminal, boarding as usual at MNL, is a zoo. There area is walled off with a glass wall, finally security check being right before you enter the gate area.
The new terminal,is much nicer than the old, many more food options and stores are now available.
Hope this helps, any questions feel free to,ask.
