Actually, it makes all the sense in the world. The A333 is an excellent TATL workhorse, especially in low cost/charter configuration. And it shares a common cockpit with the A319. Not to mention that there are only a handful of 767's in AC's fleet that are younger than the 333 fleet. With the 339 coming in few years, there should be enough second hand 333's available to expand the fleet further.
