What cars have a fuel used counter? I have yet to encounter one. I don't rent terribly often compared to many posting here, but I've driven a varied spread of late model vehicles over the past few years so I would still conclude it isn't very common on most cars. Maybe on some more luxury/prestige type models, or hybrids? If such a meter becomes more common or could be added on, that would be the ticket for sure. Also helps with those times when you get a 3/4 full car from the HLE. Use 6 gallons, put 6 gallons back, nice and simple instead of having to guesstimate by mpg.
