Assuming you can get a 2000mi offer on Premier Accelerator, that is an option. Assuming around 20cpm, you will be looking at $400.

If you have travel planned, you may also be able to pay for an upgrade and get 50% bonus. (On your itinerary, click "Redeem Upgrade" then "Buy Up to United First".) But probably not economical either.

Hate to say this, but the best way is to actually fly it. Perhaps $155 SFO-LAX-PSP roundtrip on Sat 6 Dec? That's 2000mi, w/ 500mi min.
