I would be thankful for the ORC and not having to put 17K+ miles butt in seat miles .... I had a mileage run last Friday/Saturday (yeah got to see the first snow at ORD), and the AAgent gave me ORC on the longest segment to cover the lost segment (I was thankful for that much ...)

I do understand the desire for the mileage .... but .... getting that huge bump (unless you were craving asian cuisine) ..... is major plus ....
