Langkawi is very seasonal- when are you wanting to go? Check the rain and hours sunshine.

The 4S is nice in a beach villa. The beach is artificial and far from the best- that said none of the hotels in langkawi have wow beaches- Datai is probably the best beach. The 4S is a decent hotel- the food last time we went was expensive (as you would expect) but also not very good.
