Bottom line here is that taking the picture of others without their permission is just plain creepy. You don't have to look to far in news stories to see how even innocent stuff gets twisted around into ghastly stalking incidents.

OP's action was not called for. Maybe UA will back up its employee and "fire" OP as a customer or at least suggest he take a time out for a period of time.
