There are tons of discussions on the resort fee question.
In my eyes it is deceptive, if I am bidding for a unknown property and then have to pay an extra EUR 20/night in mandatory resort fees.
They do have to mention the resort fee though before you make the purchase. In fact it's illegal not to, I'm sure. They do not have to say whether or not there is a security deposit, as far as I know. (fully refundable but I still think it can help to know that too)

I think it's really annoying that the resort fee isn't included in the listed price.
