Problems booking multi-trip award when crossing international date line?
I am looking to book 3 tickets DEN-PVG July 10th returning August 7th.
Due to the lack of availability of PVG-DEN I am trying to book:
DEN-PVG (July 10th)
PVG-PEK
PEK-HNL-DEN (August 7th)
PEK-HNL departs August 7th at 1am but arrives at 5:30pm on August 6th.
I am able to find availability on all individual segments. I am not able to get PEK-HNL-DEN to price out as a one way for testing purposes. Is this due to the website having problems with the international date line? Should I try to book a round trip DEN-PEK and then call in to have them adjust the ticket to avoid the phone fee? Or, am I missing something else?
