If I were flying all that way, I'd certainly try to tack on some diving at the Great Barrier Reef. That, of course, requires another flight and several more days, but if you haven't done it, it certainly seems bucket worthy.
Thanks, have also done that twice - once at the Cairns OzFest, once earlier on a three-week trip to several parts of Oz (and the Torres Strait). This will be something like my tenth trip to Australia - I'd have to count - and I really don't have the extra time. I appreciate the thought, though!
