I have the same situation. If I check my bag all the way through, when I land at T3 do I have to follow the "connecting to" instructions or do I just go through immigration like I was exiting? If going through connections is there a way to exit T3 after that?

I guess I'm looking for "best practices" for exiting during a long layover during the day with Virgin at T3 specifically.
