The flight from DUB into T5 will always use a specific gate (cant remember which one it was) and the walking route exits through the frosted glass door just to the left of the lift down to baggage reclaim after passport control
I was "brain in neutral" at the time as the outward was from T1 and the return to T5 a week later
Can't remember the gate number but it's the last one on the south side of T5, whereas domestic arrivals are on the north side of the building.
