Would you be happy enough if BA introduced a dedicated T5 domestic to T3 transfer bus which allowed you to bypass security? This is what VS do with Little Red, arrive on a domestic at T2 get bus to T3 and drop off at a point that bypasses security. Although apparently they only do this if connecting to a VS or DL flight. If they'd have allowed it when connecting to other T3 flights I would have considered using them when connecting to BA.
One thing to note is that you know domestic flights can't move to T3 as there's no domestic capability.
