Depends if you're connecting from a international flight or a domestic flight. Totally agree that T5 flight connection and the whole re-screening process can be a nightmare in a morning but if you're connecting from a domestic flight you avoid the the whole flight connections / re-screening process and it's a simple case of a quick boarding pass scan and you're on your way. Would you be happy enough if BA introduced a dedicated T5 domestic to T3 transfer bus which allowed you to bypass security? This is what VS do with Little Red, arrive on a domestic at T2 get bus to T3 and drop off at a point that bypasses security. Although apparently they only do this if connecting to a VS or DL flight. If they'd have allowed it when connecting to other T3 flights I would have considered using them when connecting to BA.
One thing to note is that you know domestic flights can't move to T3 as there's no domestic capability.
