I was travelling F DFW-ORD-LHR last weekend, where 'snow' in Chicago meant that I missed my connection.

I couldn't be re-routed for 19 hours, via Miami (was told I'd have to wait until Tuesday if I wanted to go direct), so I paid for a hotel room for the night and went back to ORD the following day.

When I eventually got to LHR, turns out my baggage never left DFW! Well, it got delivered to my house tonight and both cases are battered & broken.

Shame - it kinda spoilt my first F experience and I was miffed at being told by an AA rep to "wait out in the terminal" for 19hrs for the flight to MIA.

Anyone else get caught up in Shitcargo this weekend?
