When I eventually got to LHR, turns out my baggage never left DFW! Well, it got delivered to my house tonight and both cases are battered & broken.

Shame - it kinda spoilt my first F experience and I was miffed at being told by an AA rep to "wait out in the terminal" for 19hrs for the flight to MIA.

Anyone else get caught up in Shitcargo this weekend?
Maybe you should have researched Chicago weather before you chose your routing.

I never connect in Chicago - it has awful weather delays in all seasons.

In the US, airlines are not obligated to provide accommodation during delays caused by weather.
