Try it sometime. Make a batch of cup cakes and frost half yellow, white or pink, and frost half blue, and see which ones people choose.
The cake in the picture doesn't look like anything I would want to eat - I think it looks absolutely vile, but I wouldn't have felt the urge to remonstrate with the staff about its blueness.
Is that thick layer of blue all frosting, or is there a layer of blue cake, too?
