Just done LHR-HEL-LHR this weekend in CE and there was no choice of meal whatsoever. On the 11:20am from LHR, everyone was given a continental style brunch: one slice of ham, one slice of prosciutto couple of bits of cheese and fruit plate for after. Back in August when I did a morning back to back LHR-AMS-LHR there was a choice on both legs!

Is only one meal option a new enhancement for CE?
There is always a choice, but often only a small number of the second choice of meals is loaded. The key thing is asking for a vegetarian option.
