At a different forum in the last couple days they're saying that Discover is going to be issuing Chip & PIN, not Chip & Signature, as early as next month.

If only they could work out their online non-acceptance through UnionPay, JCB, and Diners Club, I would be able to use the card more... (e.g. try using Discover on Amazon.co.jp (JCB/DCI) or Amazon.cn (CUP/JCB) - no can do.)
