Scamcharge, fuel surcharge, but really co-pay.

Money Air Canada, as the ticketing carrier, collects when issuing reward tickets on certain (most) carriers. Aeroplan passes these fees from Air Canada to the customer, and thus an award ticket may end up >$1000 in fees
