It just opens yet another hole thats all. Say I am a nefarious character that wanted to do something mean and evil. I enter the US illegally with my forged documents in the name of someone recently deceased in Mexico or some other country to the south. I take these documents to the DMV and am issued a D/L in the name of this other person, thereby taking on that personna. Now I have legal documentation issued by a legitimate entity recognized by all other states. So I decide to move to another state, say N.Y. and set up shop. I go to the local DMV there and exchange my Calif. D/L in for a NY D/L. I can use this ID to do anything that a legal citizen can do. They can even register to vote with nothing more than a D/L. I know of a popular resturant where all the employees did just that and managed to get social security to send full benefit checks to their relatives in the Dominican Republic even though these people have never set foot in the US. Our system is broken and we are supporting the world with our tax dollars.

We have immigration laws in this country and we used to have borders. Now we throw open the gates and just give in. When so many illegals come in that the standard of living begins to drop,(it will), just look at California where they give education and free healthcare to illegals and have a larger deficit than the other 49 states comblined. Then maybe someone will wake up.
