Goldorak, I think that this seems like an idiosyncrasy of your employer rather than a generalizable system. If anything, I wonder if C would be harder to justify not because it is C per se but precisely because it is two classes up (rather than 1) from the official policy, in which case, for better or worse, C might be the new W?
