Certain vehicles may come with a limit on mileage. Make the reservation and it will tell you before you confirm it on the website whether or not there are stipulations.

I often rent because I have to take long trips across the country for contracts and flying usually isn't an option due to the amount of luggage I need to bring. I have never once had a problem with the mileage I put on the vehicles. Although, I usually rent for at least a month and sometimes as long as 3 months.

Regardless, the contract always said unlimited miles for me (I rent midsize suv). It doesn't have a "*" at the end and there is no fine print. The only time I have gotten limited miles was on luxury vehicles and it was limited to 200 miles per rental day.

Like the poster said above, if there is a stipulation then it will say so on the contract (and on the online reservation confirmation).
