I have an upcoming phx to ewr trip that will put me at silver. Do the benefits start instantaneously or does it take a few weeks for that to register ? I don't really care about the email or silver card .
I also have an explorer card but how do I use it effectively ? When boarding I never hear them call for explorer card users . Priority access is one of the perks isn't it ?
You won't get Silver status until the miles post (takes 1-3 days)—though keep in mind that PQD may apply to you. Lastly, your boarding group number will reflect your having the Explorer Card, and you'll get one bag fee waived, to name two of the most important benefits.
